It's game over for EGL. Both legs were played and once again we had to go to decider map to find out the winner. Admins tryed to make this a competitive league and made teams play maps they normaly wouldnt. Did it work? Definitly. Besides the final result, this was probably the best league we ever had. Matches going on 5th map, last second wins, alot of excitement.
On the final.. it was very close as the ones before. Each team won A or B on each map, couple of maps decided in the last seconds. After the 2-2 draw in the first match we knew wining both DD's on the second one was decisive, but unfortunately that didnt happened. We knew that DEA was a well organized team, and we... not realy. On spider web, the decider map, we basicly had the 2 right, 2 middle, 2 left system going on, wich against DEA might not be enough, and it wasnt. Although we kept it balanced during the map, on the last minutes they took positions, and it was impossible for us to reach the zone.
We want to congrat DEA for their win, no shame in lossing to one the the legend teams of bhd. Tbh we could have just easely lost to RAF or CSR, they were all very close matches, we cant win them all
But i cant help the feeling that with some organization the result could have been diferent. Something to look into in the future maybe.
Congratz again to DEA, and to all other teams that faced us with fairplay This was definitly one for the hall of fame.
Tonight we played CSR for the semi-finals of the EGL tourny and it wasnt tonight our 17w match streak ended.
First 2 maps, hop, were played on CSR map. We were clocked on both of them, probably for being constantly flashed by the T and R on top of the screen... or maybe because thats how we like it, who knows .
We then changed to DC server, we could actualy shot people there. Still both DD were hard, with PSP's changing hands constantly, mostly on the first map. Second one we +\- controlled better. We took both our home maps and went to the decider.
TT was a hard fight but in the end, with some skill and luck in the mixture we took it home. Skilla arrased me to put these last minute kills here, thats the luck part i was talking about

EGL group stage ended with «ÐÇ» on top spot on our group, getting us on the 1/4 finals.
1/4 finals RAF vs «ÐÇ»
Was in fact one of the most competitive matches we played so far, even though i dont remmember last time we played MG or EOTD in a match. Lack of training, tactics or simply the solid line up that RAF presented, warever the reason was, they gave us a run for it. We lost both MG with a feeling that RAF was on top during the entire time, though both maps were decided in last seconds as usual.
EOTD was probably the contrary, we felt we had the upper hand and took the first one confortably. On the second we somehow managed to clear 5 zoners in 10secs, 2 of them in the last second, getting us, and i bet RAF, to think "how the fuck did that happened?"
With their moral down and our home map coming up we were confident in the win, wich came with a clock on DD.

This was a briliant match and im sure RAF had as much fun as we did despite the result.
We will now face CSR on the 1/2 finals. Lets try to repeat last EGL final.
Tonite we reached our 1000th official match in Black Hawk Down.
We probably reached this goal 1 year ago with the amount of unofficial matches our team played but tonite it was the official one and it we won it.
Since 2003, the year we created the team, many members had the pleasure to wear our tag, and all those members put our name high in the BHD community through the world.
During the past 7 years, we played against a lot of opponents from every country. With 2 teams, an euro one and the oceanic one, we ate lot of dust on battlefields all over the world. Sometimes battle were epic, like every matches against *DEA, ISA, or Urban tigers, OAP or 7th Compagny, sometimes it was laggy, especially for euro to play against oceanic or oceanic playing with euro team early in the morning (for them), but even if sometimes you are ending a match after beeing owned from beginning to last seconds, we all took a lot of pleasure to live that.
So in order to celebrate this 1000th match, i found funny to ask our actual and past members the best souvenir they had in a match, thanx to everyone who made this possible.

Topgun : "I am in «ÐÇ» from the year 2003, almost from the beginning. Thats 7 years of BHD with my «ÐÇ» mofo's. So its hard for me to point some historic moments, because i experienced it all.
But what do i remember the most:
The many evenings and nights with a bunch of people playing BHD and chatting in TS. Making a lot of fun, playing 2 or sometimes even three matches a day when BHD was on his Top. And during this 7 years we kept one important sentence alive: ONLY BEST FRIENDS STAY. Thats why «ÐÇ» is the longest en most reliable squad in the BHD community and history.
Trough the years i saw many «ÐÇ»-legends that put there arms down and stopped playing BHD. I want to name some of these legends: Maikie, Trinity, Stekel, Rood, Darkevil, Arson, RIP, Mingebeater. Everytime when one of them left it was a great loss to the «ÐÇ»-family. But everytime we succeed to reqruit new members with the «ÐÇ» attitude and kept the spirit alive.
It is and was a privelige to play with you all. (current and old members)."

Nico: " Best souvenir for me was in S3 (silverscorpions) server, an american server like noone else with no lag and where i met RIP, ROOD, DEANSTER, ARSON, KAT, HANS and STEKEL the historic 1st team of «ÐÇ»". I played a lot of long long day on this server because as european players we were online and hot when the americans were coming around 2 or 3 oclock in the nite (when evening was starting for them). This server had the best custom map ever and so far i can remember it was my best time on bhd. Like KAT i got a clear souvenir of the 1st trophee we took in ROF New corner tournament in 2004. I also enjoyed to give «ÐÇ» all website templates since we started and the 3 «ÐÇ» tour we made, i just missed the 1st one in UK ...
Im just curious to know how many babies saw the lights since 2003 in the team, things that prooved that «ÐÇ» players are nice players but also nice "fuckers" lol"

New free Fps, named Alliance of Valiant Arms have been added to our game list and we are allready competitive in it.
After the dismissed of most of our Combat Arms members, we put in this new free online fps our soul and energy still waiting for the new bhd generation (if only it will arrive 1 day ...).
Some of our actual members are allready active in the game and we are offically opening recruitment for that game.
